Field Trip to Sue and Wes Dixon Waterfowl Refuge Members Only

Members Only Free Event Nature Walk/Hike
Claire Howard and David Zalaznik who wrote a book detailing the history and environment of this wetlands led the field trip along with 2 Nature Conservancy stewards of the refuge. The hike started at the Observation Tower and prairie area to view the lakes, then we'll drive to the boat launch and hike to Dore Seep. After lunch, the group hiked through the Sandy Hollow savanna area.
