The first stop was at Bennett's Terraqueous Garden in East Peoria, which is a seep where participants were able to view skunk cabbage and march marigolds in bloom. The property was donated to the Fon du Lac park district of East Peoria by Kathy Packard's grandparents. The second stop was at Detweiller Park in Peoria where the group hiked the Dry Run trail where we saw the diminutive snow trillium in bloom..
