A moderate hike that will last about an hour. Total distance of the Sun Trail is 1.5 miles. It’s a gentle excursion in keeping with a warm July day, and it’s sited in such a way that views of local farm fields or sounds from area roads just seem to disappear. It’s a popular site in Macon County for bird watching, too.
