Here’s a great find. In the early 2,000s Keith Horn bought a 40-acre remnant prairie from a farmer who did not value what he had. Keith nurtured it. Other botanists and scientists from the state came out to help him identify
plants. He has found over 600 species. Some are rare. We may even see a couple: the Indian Paintbrush and Mimosa.
