Members Only Nature Walk/Hike
We will meet at Spindler Marina in East Peoria and hike part of the 1.8 mile East Peoria Riverfront Greenway project. We will be walking on a boardwalk along the east side of the Illinois River through wetlands which empty into the river. We hope to see lizard's tail, buttonbush, bundleflower, fringed loosestrife, and other wetland plants along the trail. We’ll catch glimpses of the river and hopefully see some of the resident birds as well. This is an out and back trail.
