The chapter holds monthly programs on various topics related to native plants. The chapter also sponsors and organizes a variety of other events throughout the year. As you are discovering wildflowers, are you at a loss for words on how to describe them? Susan Post will provide several templates that are a sure cure for writer's block to help in this process. She will also conduct an activity to put program attendees newfound knowledge to use.
Presenter Bio:
Susan Post is the author of six books including Hiking Illinois, Curious Encounters of the Natural World and Butterflies of Illinois. An entomologist/field biologist by training, her passion is exploring. Whether it’s Illinois or the world, she always carries a 3x5 notebook to record the details of the day.
